This is a beautiful, relaxing massage with essential oils, but it is so much more than that. We discuss what issues you may need to deal with, or what you want out of the session, and select the pure essential oils and carrier oils to meet those needs. In the massage, the oils then interact with the body and emotions, through absorption, and inhalation to heal, relax and rejuvenate.
The massage itself combines many systems, including soft tissue massage, lymphatic drainage, acupressure points, meridian massage, skin conditioning, stimulation of nerve plexus, regulation of nervous system, balancing of magnetic field, and releasing negative energy. It is designed to assist the absorption of the oils into the body, and to improve lymphatic drainage, the circulation, skin tone, the flow of qi through the meridians, and to stimulate the nerves and regulate the nervous system. An aromatherapy massage is like giving the body a spa holiday
In an Aromatherapy Massage, when you arrive we see if there is any particular outcome that you want from that session. Then we select the oils we will use to promote that outcome, and learn about their physical and emotional properties. Then you get the most amazing hour and a half of massage with these oils specifically selected for you on that day. There are heated towels, candles, soft music…all designed to enhance your sense of peace and relaxation. You also get to take home a small bottle of the oils, so you can continue to build on the benefits that you received.
